Arsidez León is a passionate advocate for social justice and progressive causes, with over ten years of experience in political organizing, voter engagement, and nonprofit leadership. Based in Forsyth County Arsidez has held roles such as National Civic Engagement Director, State Organizing Director, Training Program Manager, and Vice President of the LGBTQ+ Democrats of North Carolina. A multiracial and openly gay leader, Arsidez draws on a rich family legacy of civil rights activism in the American South. Born and raised in Atlanta, GA his work reflects a deep commitment to inclusivity, coalition-building, and empowering underrepresented communities. Arsidez holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Mars Hill University.
Throughout his career, Arsidez has championed issues including environmental protection, LGBTQ+ rights, housing justice, and BIPOC voter activation. Arsidez has also played a pivotal role in electoral organizing, working with the North Carolina Coordinated Campaign and contributing to multiple presidential campaigns in the state, helping to mobilize voters and strengthen Democratic infrastructure. Currently, Arsidez is focused on building grassroots initiatives, including helping to form the Democratic Men of North Carolina to foster connections across diverse communities. With a blend of strategic vision, hands-on organizing expertise, and a personal passion for equity, Arsidez is dedicated to creating a more inclusive and equitable future.
