Cliff has been active in the Democratic Party of NC starting the 1970's. He has served in a variety of roles, including precinct chair, YD president in two counties, county chair, district chair, chair and member of the NCDP Plan of Organization Review Committee, the NCDP Council of Review Committee, and as a Democratic National Committee member from 2016-2020. He has also served as a parliamentarian for numerous county and district party meetings.He believes the establishment of a Democratic Mens statewide organization is long overdue, and is excited to be a part of the effort to bring The Democratic Men of North Carolina into being.
